Starting this period the top 160 players from our new period leader board will qualify for the £1000 guaranteed tournament to be held in Les Croupiers on Saturday 11th September 2010. This will be a £10 tournament with a £3 registration fee.
Please Note: The top two players from your venue at the end of each period still qualify for the end of season play-off's.
Clark, who qualified from Club Lennox in Bargoed, wins our first end of period tournament with Martyn, who made it from the Cross Keys in Newport, in second place.
Both players not only won cash, Clark won £190 & Martyn picked up £120, but were also guaranteed seats to our Grand Final. Well done to both players.
Please Note: The Lower New Inn will replace The Teazer in New Inn, Pontypool on Tuesday's. All results will carry over to the new venue. Tournament begins @ 7.30pm.
Change of day: The Terrace in Cwmbran will now hold their tournaments on Sunday afternoons instead of Thursday evenings. The next game will be on 1st August 2010 @ 2.00pm.
Change of time: From this Sunday the White Hart in Caerleon on will now start at 3.00pm instead of 2.00pm.
We have another great venue starting on Friday 30th July 2010, Labour in Vain in Pontypool, Gwent. Tournament starts @ 7.30pm.
Dates:
The season starts on 17th May 2010 and runs until 31st October 2010.
Period 1 will run from 17th May 2010 until 11th July 2010.
Period 2 will start 12th July 2010 and finish 5th September 2010.
Period 3 goes from 6th September 2010 until 31st October 2010.

The top ten players from the National Leaderboard at the end of the season will also make it straight to the Grand Final.
The last week of each 8 week period will be a satellite week, winners of all tournaments (with 8 players or more) during this week will qualify for the play-off’s only, not the cash tournaments. Points will still be allocated as normal.
